Pursuant to the Statute of the Alma Mater Europaea Academy of Dance, the following bodies operate within the organisation:
The Senate of the Academy is the highest organisational body. The Senate has 7 members: 4 faculty lecturers and researchers, 1 student representative elected by the Student Board and 1 member of non-educational workers elected by the Secretariat of the Academy. The Dean of the Academy is appointed to the Senate by his/her position.
The Academic Assembly of the Academy of Dance is comprised of all faculty members, scientific workers and researchers. Representatives of students of the Academy also participate in the work of the Assembly. At the beginning of every academic year, the Dean of the Academy informs the Student Council of the number of members of the Academic Assembly.
The Academic Assembly of the Academy elects members of the Senate of the Academy and their election is valid only if the majority of the members of the Academic Assembly of the Academy are present. The elections are conducted by secret ballot unless the Academic Assembly decides otherwise.
The Management Board of the Academy has five members:
- Three members of the founder
- One faculty representative
- One representative of other institution workers
Representatives of the founder are appointed by the founder; the faculty member is appointed into the Management Board from faculty members by the Senate of the Academy after the proposal of the Dean of the Academy and the representative of other workers is appointed by the director.
The Student Council is a representative body of the students of the Academy of Dance. Each year, in the first half of October, the Student Council of the Academy pursuant to the decision of the Dean of the Academy, holds elections and informs the Dean of the election results. It must also inform the Dean of the elected members of the Student Council of the Academy and of other bodies of the Academy in which students hold positions by November 15 of the same year.
