Description:

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is an incurable neurodegenerative disorder. Therapies that help manage symptoms and improve quality of life are therefore an important health intervention for both patients and their caregivers.

Through an interdisciplinary approach and certification process, the NeuroDance project aims to train teachers to lead adapted dance interventions for people with PD and other neurodegenerative disorders. The main objective of the project is to implement a five-month dance intervention each year in four countries. This will be further developed into a digital platform for long-term education and the dissemination of best practices.
