International engagement of Alma Mater Europaea – Dance Academy

The internationalization of Alma Mater Europaea – Dance Academy is a key pillar of artistic, pedagogical, and academic development. It promotes excellence, creativity, innovation, intercultural dialogue, and global connectivity in the fields of dance, choreography, dance pedagogy, and performing arts education.
Located in the heart of Europe, the Dance Academy seeks to strengthen its regional and international role through Erasmus+ mobility, partnerships with higher education institutions, and collaboration with renowned dance artists, educators, and researchers. Through international cooperation, the Academy creates opportunities for students and staff to engage in high-quality learning, teaching, artistic creation, and research.
The Academy aims to expand student and staff mobility, attract international students and lecturers, and develop activities such as summer courses, choreographic projects, artistic research, and international cooperation projects. Its internationalization strategy supports the modernization and quality of study programmes, the development of professional competences, lifelong learning, digital skills, inclusive education, multilingualism, cultural awareness, and European cultural heritage.








Erasmus+ and CEEPUS Incoming students

Alma Mater Europaea – Dance Academy is committed to international cooperation, mobility, and intercultural dialogue. In line with Alma Mater Europaea’s vision of interdisciplinarity, internationality, and building bridges, the Dance Academy supports meaningful international learning experiences through the Erasmus+ and CEEPUS Programme.

The International Office is responsible for inter-institutional cooperation, international projects, and the mobility of students and staff. Incoming students receive full support before and during their exchange at the Dance Academy.

As the study process at the Dance Academy is conducted in English, incoming students are fully integrated into the regular academic and artistic study process at the Dance Academy.

Application Process for Erasmus+ students

  1. Student nomination
    The partner university nominates students by sending an email to erasmus@almamater.si.
    The nomination should include the following information:
    • Student’s full name
    • Student’s email address
    • Field of study and level of study
    • Semester of exchange: 1st or 2nd semester
  2. Student application
    After the nomination has been submitted, students complete the application form HERE.
    Courses offered in English are available HERE.
  3. Learning Agreement
    The International Office of Alma Mater Europaea must confirm the student’s selected courses before they are entered into the Learning Agreement.

    Nomination deadlines
    • Winter semester: 30 July
    • Summer semester: 30 NovemberAfter completing their semester at Alma Mater Europaea, students will receive a Confirmation of Mobility, a Transcript of Records, and any additional documents required by the sending institution.
  5. Application for CEEPUS students
    1. Students interested in CEEPUS mobility should first contact their home university.
    2. After their mobility has been approved, they complete the application form through the CEEPUS website.
    3. Courses offered in English are available HERE.
