Interviews with selected teachers at the Dance Academy
As part of their seminar work in the course Contemporary Dance Techniques, second-year students of the AMEU Dance Academy devised, conducted and wrote up interviews with selected teachers. They spoke with those whose teaching and artistic work inspires them, from whom they wanted to learn more about the world of professional dance and about their personal and creative paths. Through the interviews the students gained an in-depth insight into diverse dance aesthetics, styles and techniques; they deepened their knowledge of specific creative methods, references and historical backgrounds, and became acquainted with the personal views of established dance artists on dance as an art.
