About us
The Dance Academy of Alma Mater Europaea University combines classical dance techniques with contemporary research into movement, theory and an interdisciplinary approach. As the only university dance school in Slovenia, it shapes the development of dance art and pedagogy both at home and in the region.
Vision
By 2025, the Dance Academy will become an excellent, leading artistic academy in the region — one that views its mission broadly through inter-genre connections, interdisciplinary activities and the placement of dance art in the widest spheres of cultural and social life. Our vision is to become the key liaison artistic institution offering students top-quality knowledge that they can apply in Slovenia and abroad.
Mission
At the Dance Academy we ensure top-quality knowledge in dance, pedagogy and the creative-choreographic process. With a wide range of diverse teaching staff, their rich artistic and creative experience and leadership, we provide our students with outstanding interaction and engagement with the best experts in their fields.
