About the programme
The master’s programme Studies in Dance Arts spans a number of fields of practice, which is essential for creativity today. It broadens work across different dance genres (contemporary dance, jazz dance, ballet and others) and reaches into new media, philosophy, gender studies, feminism, questions of public space and expanded choreography — and, more widely, into the relationships between education, creation, production and reflection. Because these activities are interdisciplinary and cross-genre, the programme focuses on connecting existing dance practice with theory and on opening up the creative, educational, pedagogical, research, reflective and organisational dimensions of the arts.
