About the library<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Alma Mater Europaea University Library provides library services in support of teaching, scientific research and professional work.<\/p>

The library is primarily intended to meet the information needs of students, academic staff, researchers and university employees. Its core mission is to provide high-quality services, to organise and provide access to a range of information resources, to support learning and educational content, and to support the scientific research objectives of Alma Mater Europaea University.<\/p>

The Dance Academy collection is housed at the library premises in Ljubljana. <\/b>In addition to the library, a reading room <\/b>is available for individual study and group work.<\/span><\/p>

Through interlibrary loan we give users access to materials from other Slovenian and foreign libraries, and we also lend our own materials to other libraries.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Borrowing library materials<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

A student or library card or a valid photo ID document is required for borrowing.<\/p>

  1. The loan period is 21 days<\/b> (exceptionally 14 or 7 days) and may be renewed through My Library, by email, by phone or in person. Collection of reserved material on behalf of another person requires written authorisation and an ID document.<\/li>
  2. Reading-room use only<\/strong> \u2013 journals, non-book materials, theses (BA, MA, PhD) and books marked READING ROOM; these must be returned the same day.<\/li>
  3. Condition of materials<\/span> \u2013 users must return materials in the same condition in which they borrowed them. Users are responsible for damage, loss or theft of materials.<\/li>
  4. A user may borrow a maximum of 5 items<\/b> at one time. Materials must be returned by the due date. Overdue fines are charged according to the current price list.<\/li>
  5. Interlibrary loan \u2013<\/strong> if the library does not hold a specific item, it can order it for you through interlibrary loan, from Slovenian as well as foreign libraries. The service is intended for professional, educational and study purposes.<\/li>
  6. Loans from other Alma Mater locations<\/strong> \u2013 if you would like to receive material from another Alma Mater library location sooner (before the usual 14-day period), postal delivery is charged according to the current price list.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    1. Membership<\/strong> \u2013 membership is open to Alma Mater students and to all academic and non-academic staff of the institution.<\/li>
    2. Personal property <\/strong>– users are responsible for their own belongings brought into the reading room or other library premises. The library assumes no responsibility for any loss or theft.<\/li>
    3. Reading room conduct <\/strong>– reading rooms are intended for quiet study and research work. Smoking, eating and drinking are prohibited (only non-alcoholic beverages in sealed containers are allowed, handled with care). Mobile phones may be used only in silent mode and without voice communication.<\/li>
    4. Computer workstations \u2013<\/span> <\/strong>library computers are intended exclusively for study and research activities.<\/li>
    5. Clearance certificate<\/strong> \u2013 before a graduation or doctoral certificate is issued, the student must present confirmation that all obligations to the library have been settled. The library issues the confirmation at the student\u2019s request.<\/li>
    6. Compliance with library rules<\/strong> \u2013 a user who disturbs order, breaches the rules or disturbs other visitors and staff may be asked to leave the library premises.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
