data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Enrolment in a higher year<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ta2ac1e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ta2ac1e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Students who meet the progression requirements in accordance with the accredited and publicly recognised study programme may advance to a higher year.<\/p><p>Students who meet the enrolment requirements will have the enrolment form for the higher year opened in the VIS system in the second half of August. Enrolment will be possible until <strong>26 September<\/strong> of the current academic year; after that date, enrolment will no longer be possible. Before enrolling, it is essential to check whether all financial obligations for previous academic years have been settled, as this is one of the conditions for successful enrolment.<\/p><p><strong>Procedure for enrolment in a higher year<\/strong><\/p><p>A student who meets the enrolment requirements completes the electronic enrolment form in VIS (<a href=\"https:\/\/vis.almamater.si\/prijava.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">access to VIS<\/a>).<\/p><ul><li>The enrolment form is available in the left menu under the <strong>Enrolment form<\/strong> tab. After completing it, you sign the enrolment form electronically in the system. There is no need to send documents by post, as the electronic signature is valid.<\/li><li>Save the proof of payment of tuition and the enrolment fee, together with any additional supporting documents (for example, a Payer&#8217;s Statement or a decision on the recognition of study obligations), on your computer as jpg\/jpeg or pdf and then upload them to VIS.<\/li><li>The Office for Student Affairs will verify the adequacy of the enrolment documentation and complete the enrolment within five working days. The student will be notified of the successful enrolment at their almamater.si email address.<\/li><li>After the enrolment is completed, the signed contract will be visible in VIS and the Certificate of Enrolment can be printed.<\/li><\/ul><p>If the documentation is incomplete, the Office for Student Affairs will contact the student via their almamater.si email address.<\/p><p><strong>Progression requirements \u2014 undergraduate studies:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>To progress from the first to the second year, the student must complete all first-year obligations totalling <strong>50 ECTS<\/strong>.<\/li><li>To progress from the second to the third year, the student must complete obligations totalling <strong>110 ECTS<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Progression requirements \u2014 graduate studies:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>A student progresses to the second year if they collect at least <strong>50 ECTS<\/strong> from first-year examinations. For students repeating the first year or on a leave year, the same requirements apply for entry to the second year as for regular progression.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cfefcc0 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"cfefcc0\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" id=\"obs-ponavljanje\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c72cc7e e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"c72cc7e\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cab0073 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"cab0073\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-h47af8d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"h47af8d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Repeating<\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-hceec54 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"hceec54\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Repeating a year<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-t262a1c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"t262a1c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A student wishing to re-enrol must submit an application. The <strong>Application to Repeat a Year<\/strong> is submitted via VIS by selecting <em>Applications<\/em> in the left-hand menu, then <em>Application at Enrolment \u2013 Repeat a Year<\/em>, completing and SUBMITTING it. By submitting, the student confirms they have not previously repeated a year or changed programme\/strand at any higher-education institution in the Republic of Slovenia.<\/p><p>By submitting the application, the student accepts criminal and material responsibility and authorises Alma Mater to verify the accuracy of the data ex officio and, where needed, obtain data from official records.<\/p><p>Within <strong>two working days<\/strong> of submission via VIS, the Office for Student Affairs will check the application and, within <strong>5 working days<\/strong>, prepare the enrolment form for the student to complete via VIS, thereby completing enrolment. Sign in to VIS at <a href=\"https:\/\/vis.almamater.si\/prijava.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vis.almamater.si\/prijava.htm<\/a> with your username and personal password.<\/p><p><strong>Tuition for repeating a year is 1\/3 of the full tuition plus an enrolment fee of EUR 150.00.<\/strong> The first tuition instalment and the enrolment fee must be paid together by enrolment. Repeat-year tuition may be paid in 1, 2 or 5 instalments.<\/p><p>Please check before enrolment that all financial obligations from previous years are settled \u2014 this is a precondition for enrolment. Students keep their <strong>student status<\/strong> during the repeat year.<\/p><p><em>Important:<\/em> a student cannot repeat the third year; if study obligations are not completed, the student should apply for the absolvent year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cb52989 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"cb52989\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" id=\"obs-pogojni\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c8432cf e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"c8432cf\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ce98fca e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"ce98fca\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-h20a92d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"h20a92d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Conditional enrolment<\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-hdbfe36 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"hdbfe36\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Exceptional enrolment in a higher year<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-tc7c19a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"tc7c19a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A student may exceptionally enrol in a higher year despite not having met all progression requirements, where they have justified reasons. Exceptional enrolment is decided by the <strong>Study Affairs Committee<\/strong>.<\/p><h3 style=\"font-size:18px;font-weight:700;margin:1em 0 .5em;\">Justified reasons and required evidence<\/h3><ul><li><strong>Motherhood during studies<\/strong> \u2014 evidence: an extract from the register of births. Student mothers who give birth in the current academic year are entitled to extend their student status by one year for each live-born child, provided they hold student status in that year.<\/li><li><strong>High-risk pregnancy<\/strong> in the current academic year, regardless of outcome \u2014 evidence: a certificate from a specialist gynaecologist.<\/li><li><strong>Fatherhood<\/strong> in the first year of the child&#8217;s life, if the father lives with the child in a shared household and uses parental leave \u2014 evidence: extract from the register of births, certificate of shared household, certificate of leave taken.<\/li><li><strong>Illness<\/strong> lasting at least three months during teaching or one month during examination periods \u2014 a numbered medical certificate from your GP describing the illness and treatment period, or a specialist&#8217;s medical report, or hospital discharge papers. The certificate must indicate the period of absence.<\/li><li><strong>Death of family members<\/strong> (mother, father, brother, sister, husband, wife, child) during the examination periods of the current academic year \u2014 evidence: extracts from the register of deaths\/births; for members of a shared household, a certificate of shared household.<\/li><li><strong>Serious family social hardship<\/strong> registered with the Social Work Centre, hindering study during the examination periods \u2014 evidence: certificate from the Social Work Centre.<\/li><li><strong>Exceptional activity<\/strong> in artistic, cultural, humanitarian, sport or research fields during the examination periods \u2014 evidence: confirmation of active participation.<\/li><li><strong>Study in two or more programmes<\/strong> \u2014 evidence: enrolment certificate.<\/li><li><strong>At least three months of study abroad<\/strong> \u2014 evidence: documentation of study abroad.<\/li><li><strong>Active participation in institutional bodies.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>A student wishing to be enrolled exceptionally (conditionally) in a higher year in the next academic year must submit an application. The <strong>Conditional Enrolment Application<\/strong> is submitted electronically via VIS by selecting <em>Applications<\/em> in the left-hand menu, then <em>Application at Enrolment \u2013 Conditional Enrolment<\/em>, and completing it.<\/p><p>The completed application is printed, signed and sent with the supporting evidence by registered post to Alma Mater, Slovenska ulica 17, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia \u2014 or submitted in person during office hours. The application must also include a <strong>Proof of Application Payment<\/strong> and the application for issuance of the decisions. On the UPN payment order, enter <em>SI00 plus your enrolment number<\/em> as the reference, and the student&#8217;s first and last name plus <em>CONDITIONAL ENROLMENT APPLICATION<\/em> as the payment purpose.<\/p><p>A student whose exceptional enrolment is approved by the Committee should note: within <strong>5 working days<\/strong> of receiving the Committee&#8217;s decision, an enrolment form will be prepared for the student to complete electronically in VIS, thereby completing enrolment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c7f7000 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"c7f7000\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" id=\"obs-absolvent\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c1bda04 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"c1bda04\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c1f1d83 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"c1f1d83\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-hb71abb elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"hb71abb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Absolvent (final) year<\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-h212c73 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"h212c73\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Enrolment in the absolvent year<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-t87ccf6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"t87ccf6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>If a student has not completed all prescribed study obligations and the final work in the last year, and has not previously repeated a year or changed programme, they may apply to enrol in the absolvent year.<\/p><p>A student wishing to enrol in the absolvent year in the next academic year submits an electronic application via VIS by selecting <em>Applications<\/em> in the left-hand menu and then <em>Application at Enrolment \u2013 Absolvent Year<\/em>. The application must include a <strong>SIGNED Statement<\/strong> confirming that during their studies they have not changed programme or strand or repeated a year at any higher-education institution in the Republic of Slovenia. The statement prints together with the application from VIS.<\/p><p>The completed application is printed, signed and sent together with the supporting evidence to Alma Mater, Slovenska ulica 17, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia \u2014 or submitted in person during office hours.<\/p><p><strong>Tuition for the absolvent year is 1\/3 of the full tuition plus an enrolment fee of EUR 150.00.<\/strong> The first tuition instalment and the enrolment fee must be paid together by enrolment.<\/p><p>Once the office receives the <em>Application for Study Extension (Absolvent)<\/em>, an enrolment form will be prepared within <strong>5 working days<\/strong> for the student to complete electronically in VIS, then print and sign along with the agreements on mutual rights and obligations. The application is submitted via VIS (the <em>Applications \u2013 Application at Enrolment \u2013 Extension of Student Status<\/em> tab), printed, signed and sent with evidence to Alma Mater, Slovenska ulica 17, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia.<\/p><p>Each student pays an <strong>enrolment fee of EUR 150.00 per the price list<\/strong> at enrolment. In this case, they must complete a <em>registration enrolment<\/em>. Registration enrolment does not grant student status but gives the right to access study environments and information support.<\/p><p>Registration enrolment is done by completing the form <em>Application to Complete Study Obligations Without Enrolment<\/em>. The completed form is submitted in person at the office or sent by registered post. A Proof of Payment must be attached. Completion of study obligations with an examination is charged by dividing the year&#8217;s tuition by 60 ECTS and multiplying by the number of ECTS for the course. The payment covers tutorials, clinical practice, two attempts at the examination and access to study materials. For a third or further examination attempt, the participant pays per the current price list.<\/p><h3 style=\"font-size:18px;font-weight:700;margin:1em 0 .5em;\">Non-status students<\/h3><p>Those whose student status has expired and who have not completed the prescribed study obligations in the academic year receive <strong>non-status<\/strong>. To continue completing study obligations they complete the form <em>Application for Completing Study Obligations for Non-Status Candidates<\/em> and submit it to the Office for Student Affairs. The application must include proof of payment per the price list. A new form must be completed for each examination, mid-term test or partial exam.<\/p><p>Non-status students do not have access to Moodle. Moodle access is granted only for courses they have registered and paid for per the price list (materials from previous academic years cannot be obtained).<\/p><p>VIS access is blocked if a student has non-status for more than <strong>2 years<\/strong>.
